Ryan is a lawyer based in Ottawa, ready to represent clients in a variety of criminal, quasi-criminal, and regulatory matters.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa, Ryan graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.

Ryan spent two summers with the Ministry of the Attorney General, Crown Law Office - Criminal, where he was involved in the preparation of trials and appeals at all levels of court, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. Ryan prosecuted trials and appeals taken under the Provincial Offences Act and the Highway Traffic Act.

After completing his articles of clerkship with a highly regarded criminal litigation firm in Toronto, Ryan was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2019.

Ryan’s trial practice covers the defence of charges ranging from assault and impaired driving to major frauds, criminal conspiracy, and murder. His appellate practice has involved cases before the Summary Conviction Court of Appeal, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
